what i do when i make brushes is make them all as an image pack first, then i clear out my current brushes pallette, by going to the brushes icon and getting the menu come up, clicking the little black arrow at the side and saving all the brushes i already have in my pallette,
then i go back to it and reset brushes to default, there are still brushes in the pallette, its tiresome but then you have to one by one right click on all the brushes left in the pallette until its entirely empty, then you open up your image pack files
then one by one you go to edit> define brush preset and when they are all done, you go to brushes> save as "whatever you want to call them" and they are now in abr format
thank you so much! that helped. I thought about starting brush making maybe this summer if it works out. And yes, I'm planning on making image packs but that didn't look too hard.
