I desperately want the font Palatino Linotype & Courier New.

If you could send either one to me, or both (which would be awesome) I find a way to pay you back. More userpics, an lj gift, a graphic, anything. I will be forever thankful if you are able to send these fonts to me.

I tried Dafont, and a few other free font sites but none of them that I searched around had em. The ones I have to pay for em cost from 29.00-110.00 so you can see why I'm asking for help finding these two fonts.

I have my website back up! I have a new layout (HOSTAGE themed) HERE is the link. So far I just have my journal icons up and some links. Hopefully I'll have some time to add more to the site next week. I'm so excited about this and I can't wait to start finding new things to add!

I just heard Paris Hilton's single "Stars Are Blind" and I almost puked. Her album won't sell very many copies, I can almost bet on it.

I miss my weekend morning cartoons.

I remember back in the 90's when I was a kid there were X-Men and Spiderman on in the mornings. And I always loved watching them, and I especially loved when they had marathons on I would sit glued to my bed watching those cartoons all day if I could. (IMO)I think those were the best cartoons to watch at the time and I miss them so much.

I heard they have (or had?) Xmen: Evolution on but it isn't the same to me since I'm so used to the old one (I've seen bits n parts of it, but it's been a loooooooooong time since then) and they tried to bring back Spiderman on MTV for a while (which I did end up watching every, I think it was, Friday night) but then, I believe that they cancelled it. Cause I always flip through MTV Friday nights hoping to see it on (and get my Spidy fix) but so far, no such luck.

We have some digital cable channels, but when I see XMEN or Spiderman on, I try to turn to it and it says we don't have that channel, so that's a big disappointment. We have all the stupid sports channels but we don't have HBO, Showtime, Starz, etc. *Sigh*

Well, off to continue making some 10th Kingdom icons.

My best friend's birthday is in August and I've come up with a really cool idea for her gifts.

She and I are both CRAZY about Pirates of the Caribbean (almost as crazy as I am about Phantom of the Opera) so she and I both like having stuff related to the movie (or just pirate stuff in general that's cute) like posters, key chains, etc.

So I decided to get her the new Pirates of the Caribbean (Dead Man's Chest)t-shirt, key chain, and misc. things like that from Hot Topic and Claires along with some pirate treats like Pirate Booty Popcorn & the new white M&M's POTC:2 promotion when those come out soon.

The only problem is.. I don't know where to find a pirate related gift bag (or wrapping paper maybe?) and birthday card. Does anyone know of a place I can find em or maybe order them?

I've considered making brushes, but I need to know how to make the JBR/ABR file, can someone please help me?

I'm excited for tomorrow, we're going to have entertainment in the morning .... music with (sexy)Ron (who playes the guitar and sometimes he'll sing a few songs too.. *drool*) He's really good.. I swear if he wasn't married I'd so do him date him. *Ehem..* Anyways. I'm looking forward to that, it'll be fun.

Liz talked to Hilee about getting a job in Activities like me, but there's nothing full time available so she was thinking maybe having Liz work a 2/3 Kithcen/Activities or something like that.. at least that's what I got from when they were talking. I hope she hires her cause I hate that Lizzy is being harassed at work. Plus it would be fun working with her and whatnot.

Nursing Home week is coming up and it'll be SO much fun!! We're going to have some really cool themes (Hawaiian, Western, etc) for that week and different activities to go with it (entertainment.. and of coarse BBQ! Yay!) and fun things to do. So I'm pretty excited about that.

I bought Jewel's new CD: Goodbye Alice In Wonderland, and it is really good! Sounds like she went back to her old style of music, which I liked better then that stupid popish crap she released last year called 0304 that I definetly did not buy since it sucked so bad. So far my favorite tracks on her new album is Words Get In The Way, Only One Too, and Again and Again.

Oh and I can finally wear regular earrings now. I can't wait to take these pink ones out and start wearing my cute dangly ones tomorrow. Coarse I still need to keep a pair in at night for 6 months so it doesn't close up, but at least I can wear different earrings now.

Anyways, I better get back to cleaning. I have a lot of laundry to put away.

I've done this doll thing before, it's fun and the results are always pretty cool.

I really enjoy my job (working at a nursing home) but this month at work (and just life in general) has been really bad lately. I've been there almost a year and a half and let's just say if my parents kicked me out of the house right now, I wouldn't be able to make it on my own. I'd have nothing. I'd be a homeless person. The money issue is a big thing.

For me, it's never been about the money cause I feel good at the end of the day knowing I made someones day better/brighter/nicer/etc but now even my Mom is trying to get me to find a new job. I feel pressured. I do love my job, and especially the people I work with. They make a huge difference. My boss is really great. Seriously. She has her bad days but who doesn't?

And now that I know for a fact that Liz and I won't be living together (like I thought for a while until now; she told me she's going to move in with her boyfriend's sister *rolls eyes*) I don't know what I'm going to do. Or how long it will take me to save up for a place of my own. I don't see myself getting into a serious relationship anytime soon (what guy would want to date me anyways?) and I don't really have any other close friends. Let's be honest. Liz is basically the only one I hang out with now since everyone else from high school bascially threw me to the curb.

I don't know what to do right now. I almost thought about getting a 2nd job and work Sunday's & Monday's on my days off so I can make more money, but where could I possibly make more money and only work 2 days at?

It's just too much for me to process. After all the crap that went on this month thinking about getting a 2nd job is the least of my conerns at the moment. I just wish I could get a pay raise every 6 months like most jobs instead of once a year. And only .50 cents. *Sigh*

Well, I feel better now that I vented.
